Our Christmas social was held on Thursday 7 December from 7 - 9pm in Coastline Community Church, Session Street, Pittenweem, KY10 2QL. Steve Liscoe gave us a talk entitled ‘Dean Linskill and the Adventuress’ about the St Andrews antiquarian and storyteller of that name, after we enjoyed mulled wine, mince pies and other festive nibbles. The Adventuress was the name given to the WW1 tank which for many decades sat near the St Andrews shore near the Cathedral as a war memorial, one of hundreds around the country.
